THE PIANO WIRES ON THIS KLINSOR MODEL, 1908, DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ENHANCE THE SOUND. IT JUST LOOKS PRETTY AND UNIQUE. IN NO WAY ARE THE STRINGS ATTACHED TO THE SOUND MECHANISM. THIS MODEL WAS FOUND IN THE NEATHERLANDS

MY GUESS IS THIS IS MADE BY OLYMPIA. BUT THE MODEL IS UNKNOWN.

Man standing with his Edison Phonograph.

REPRODUCTION NIPPER STATUE. LOOKS LIKE HE WAS DRUGGED.

A TYPICAL SEARS CATALOG PAGE SHOWING SILVERTONE PHONOGRAPHS OF THEIR TIME.

ANOTHER AD BY COLUMBIA.

YOU WILL FIND THESE PICTURE PHONOGRAPH RECORDS FLOATING AROUND STILL TODAY.
BOTH SIDES USUALLY HAVE IMAGES AND SONGS ON THEM.

THIS MODEL IS A LATER VICTOR RCA RADIOLA. A RADIO AND A PHONOGRAPH, RUN ON ELECTRIC. ELECTRICITY CHANGED THE WAY PHONOGRAPHS WERE MADE. THE RADIO TOOK OVER AS THE MAIN ENTERTAINMENT IN HOMES AND THE PHONOGRAPH LOST POPULARITY AND ALSO CAME DOWN IN PRICE.
